If you own an Electronic Weather
Station, such as those described on the WeatherMatrix
Weather Stations page, you may be looking for software which will log data
or upload to the Internet. If so, you have come to the right place. If you know
of additional software not listed here, have a weather station not listed here,
or have updates to this page, please contact us and we
will add or update it. How To Use This Page:
I. First, we have our Featured Software section in which we highlight
leaders in the field and software that goes above and beyond the regular call
of duty with multiple stations and features supported.
II. Beyond that, you can peruse the
Stations Supported List below for your station,
then click for more information on that software. Popular operating systems or
languages are shown for your information. If there is no icon then that
software does not support that station. Mouse over a station to see the Full
Name or click on a Weather Station Name for more information on that
Station.
III. Once you have determined what software
supports your station, we are offering a Features
Comparison list so you can quickly pick software that fits your needs.
Mouse over each Column to see a description of that function.
IV. Finally, we have some miscellaneous Macintosh software and Source Code for
programs that run the WX-200 and WM-918 stations.
If you are looking to write your
own software, you may find some help on the
WX-200 Planetfall
Site.

is the coolest adaptation of a Weather Station. This fellow has his entire
house controllable through the Internet, and has a WX-200 weather station
helping control his house and announcing conditions over a loudspeaker. The
source for his scripts arehere
and more information on how he set it all up, as well as media articles about
his house, are available at
MisterHouse.Net.
-
RetrieverWL
- This unique
application connects to Rainwise Weather Stations to download weather data from
their memory logger into a Palm Pilot. This information can then be synced to
the user's desktop computer.
