This picture was taken in my parents' driveway at their home in Boomer, NC, in the Northern Foothills of NC. The Blizzard of 1993 had just dumped nearly 2 feet of snow on the area, with drifts of several feet. The car in the photo is my parents' 4X4, stuck in the snow with everything else. This photo was featured as the only picture of snowfall for the Blizzard of 1993 in the NOAA National Disaster Survey Report: Superstorm Of March 1993. See page capture below.
