Near Beaucatcher Tunnel

Asheville, NC

1994

This picture was taken looking westerly from one of the roads that winds up Beaucatcher Mountain, to the south of the Tunnel before Alexander Dr. It overlooks Downtown Asheville and shows a wall of fog behind the city, probably in the French Broad basin. It was taken early one morning in 1994 or 1995. The National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) is to the left in the photo.
