Hello all, I have been busy with other things and have not posted to my
weather lists lately. We are in a dry spell here, not quite a drought
though. In the last 3 weeks, we have not had an inch of rain yet.
The remnants of Katrina gave us .37" of rain on Aug 30th in a quick
thunderstorm. A cold front gave us another thunderstorm last Friday.
That resulted in .53" of rain.
For those seeking news stories on the pending arrival of Hurricane Rita
