Normally they would have issued at least a Public Information Statement /
Storm Survey by now but I was unable to find any further information on the
storm from the NWS Rapid City website.

Wright, Wyoming near Gillette.
The twister touched down just before 5:00 PM Friday leaving a path of
destruction a mile and a half long by a quarter mile wide. It stayed on the
ground for between 10 and 15 minutes with wind speeds between 113 and 130
miles an hour.
The tornado did much of its damage at the Cottonwood Mobile Home Park where
at least 50 out of 143 mobile homes were destroyed. “It looked like a bomb
went off was all I could seejust devastated, “said Don McDaniel as he
cleaned up on Saturday. “It didn't look real … it was hard to pick out at
first until it started tearing up stuff ... it just blended in with the
