The following cities are on track to make July 2005 their hottest month
(average temperature) on record:
Las Vegas, NV
Reno, NV
Austin, NV
Tucson, AZ
However, the only city to have broken its all-time maximum temperature so
far is Grand Junction, CO with 106° on July 21 (former record of 105°
reached 11 different times in the past!).
