Hidi-ho good neighbors greetings from the high desert of the mid Atlantic.
Today the temperature hit 95 degrees. It was the fourteenth time this June that
the temperature reached 90+ degrees. That ties an all time record for the
number of 90+ days in June when there were 14 such days back in 2002. It has just
began to storm here at my homestead in the hills which is a big deal
considering my station is more than six inches below average for rainfall so far this
year with only two days of significant rainfall in the last 45 days. Chances
are good that this tied record will fall tomorrow. So much for a cool beginning
to summer. Until later................
Jim
