Eric, I'm with you there. Over here in Central PA, at WeatherMatrix HQ, we
just dipped below 80 at midnight, and I also only got down to 77 degrees
last night, tieing the all-time record high minimum daily temperature at my
location, recorded on July 29, 2002 (records from 1997-present). Since we
are near the mountains, this is even more unusual because the normal
maximum high temperature at the peak of meteorological summer here is only 81!
Other hot/humid conditions in the area according to AccuWeather.com:
Melfa, VA:
Low temperature overnight: 82
Combined with 88% Humidity...
Low RealFeel temp overnight: 91
Newport News, VA:
Low temperature overnight: 80
A heat advisory is in effect for parts of Maryland , Virginia, Pennsylvania
and New Jersey today:
