At 15:20, I discovered a weak thunderstorm from AM band. As EMHI had
forecasted thunderstorms for Estonia, I was aware for any thunder. I was
keeping my eye on thunderstorm radars since modday. Thunderstorm warning was
issued to the village by me at 15:25. For 17:00, I found out that thunders
have reached Pärnu county. At 17:30, I saw a dark rain cloud approaching. It
first didn't looked like cumulonimbus. For 17:38 it started thundering. For
17:43 it was sure that cloud was talky (thundering!). I stared making
preparations, grabbed my compass, pen and note book and went to observation.
I started with observations at 18:00 if cloud was overhead. Thunder lasted
nearly 1 and quarter hours. It had average 20 lightnings per minute in the
whole cloud(counted from AM band). Cloud went directly over Laguja.
