It has been a dry spring here in NE Illinois...until
last Wednesday morning, early. Tuesday was a mild and
fine day...temps in the upper 70's. Then a front came
through early Wednesday morning...severe t-storms,
high winds, hail. About 5 AM. It has been in the
mid-50's since then, and we had another, milder
t-storm this morning. Temps varied wildly over the
area. The lakefront never got out of the upper 50's
or low 60's all day...the area I live in was in the
low 70's.
