Out here in far western Wyoming we've had ten straight days with some
measurable rain - not a lot at one time, just persistent showers that
occasionally turned to wet snow. Total rainfall from this event was
about 2.7 inches. The mountains around us have received quite a bit
of new snow, but it's been mostly rain here at 6,150'. May tends to
be one of our wettest months and this one has been no exception.
We've already had nearly twice as much rain/melted snow as we got the
entire month of April. Today just might end the streak of rainy
days, however, and that'll be most welcome.
