The fast changing spring time weather in Wyoming is living up to its
reputation. Yesterday, we had rain until late afternoon, when the rain
changed over to all snow. We received a quick 3/4 inches of wet snow,
and the temperature dropped to a low of 25 degrees this morning.
Today, we saw the snow melt by 10AM, and this afternoon we have had
strong to severe thunderstorms skipping all around SE Wyoming. At
about 3PM we had the tornado sirens sounding here in Chugwater. There
was a severe cell that passed to our NE, which radar showed possible
rotation. I lost power twice during the afternoon, as lightning was
very close. We had brief heavy downpours of rain, producing .10" of
much needed precipitation. At least it's not boring! Blessings to all.
