We are hoping that the mountain weather forecasters keep up their lousy
weather forecast batting average and this doesn't come true! Too much
damage will occur to flowers, vegetable plants, apple and peach crops. This
is NOT the time for the forecaster's to be right!
LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW EXPECTED IN PARTS OF THE NO. CAROLINA MOUNTAINS
TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY.
STRONG NW WINDS WILL USHER MUCH COLDER AIR INTO THE NORTH CAROLINA MTNS
TODAY. MOISTURE WRAPPING INTO THE MOUNTAINS FROM THE NW WILL PRODUCE RAIN
SHOWERS.WHICH WILL GRADUALLY MIX OVER TO SNOW SHOWERS FROM THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS DOWN THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW 5000
FEET THIS AFTERNOON.BELOW 3000 FEET BY EVENING.& THEN INTO THE LWR MTN
VALLEYS OVERNIGHT.
God Bless!
