The line of storms that have been effecting the central and southern states for most of the evening have enter the southeastern KY area at 04:45 these storm feature dangerous frequent cloud to ground lighting. The stronger storms will drop upto .25 inch of rain in one hour.
On Doppler radar out of Charleston WV these storms area rapidly moving to the northeast The leading edge of this complex reached Pikeville, Ky at 04:35:42 and will into Charleston WV in about 30 mins Parkersburg .
THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ALABAMA
WESTERN GEORGIA
SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY MORNING FROM 115 AM UNTIL 800 AM CST.
