There are currently over 100 Mesocyclones detected by NEXRAD radar, which
has also detected 40 occurences of severe hail, to 2 inches in diameter.

A absolutely large area of intense storms spread from Mississippi to
Georgia this evening.

Currently 3 Tornado Watches, 1 Severe Thunderstorm Watch, 14 Severe
Thunderstorm Warnings, and 4 Tornado Warnings are in effect.

LAW ENFORCEMENT EMPLOYEE REPORTED A TORNADO HEADED TOWARD MONTICELLO. THIS
EMPLOYEE WAS ON HWY 84 HEADED TOWARD BROOKHAVEN. (JAN/MS)
