Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings again from the wind tunnel of the mid Atlantic. As a low pressure system moves over the region this afternoon the winds at my homestead in the hills continute to increase. At 11:37 AM (Wednesday) the wind gusted out of the East at 62 mph. At Noon the wind is still a tad stiff blowing out of the East at 46 mph sustained gusting to 60. I have lost a row of fencing because of the winds and soft ground (over an inch or rain has fallen in the last 24 hours) and just a few minutes ago I lost a picket railing on my front porch. Tree damage reported in several spots near my home. I will report back if (probably when) the wind gusts over 70. Until later.......................
