I certainly agree. It was irresponsible of the Raleigh mayor and the
Governor to lay any blame on the debacle at the feet of the meteorologists.

If you were reading the NWS predictions, they nailed this one early on
Thursday morning ... up to 1" of snow, they had all the counties that
got it high-lighted and
they noted when it would taper off which was within 15 min of accurate
at my house (Johnston County).

The blame lay with the school officials for:
1) not following the NWS predictions
2) releasing the schools in the MIDDLE of the event which was known to
only last for 2 hrs ...

This is really frustrating as too many people's lives were at risk
because of the decisions of so few folks in the school system.
