We started this morning out at 0 degrees at sunrise. Now at 11 p.m. we
have fallen back to 0 degrees.

While I don't have access to the database to prove it, I feel confident
that this is the first day since I have kept records here (1997) that the
temperature has been 0 in both the morning and the evening here at
WeatherMatrix HQ in State College Pennsylvania.
As to hourly temperatures, we have been getting about as close to records
as we can!
8 degrees {at} 7pm (record is 7) - CLOSE! Fell to 7 degrees at 7:15pm.
5 degrees {at} 8pm (record is 5) - TIED!
4 degrees {at} 9pm (record is 3) - CLOSE!
2 degrees {at} 10pm (record was 2) - TIED! Fell to 1 degree at 10:10 pm.
0 degrees {at} 11pm (record is 0) - TIED!
It's a heck of a reading for being hours away from the beginning of a big
snowstorm!
Other (official NWS) temps in PA at or below zero this hour:
-9 at Dubois PA
-6 at Mount Pocono
-3 in Clearfield PA
-2 in Avoca PA
