WEATHER LISTS: Although earthquakes are not weather-related, this is
serious enough to warrant reporting on this list.
The largest earthquake recorded in 40 years has devastated southeast Asia.
Officials now say at least 7,000 people are dead after the 8.9 magnitude
quake triggered tidal waves that slammed into the coastal areas of six
countries.
