NW VA: With a high of 25 forecasted today, it will be the coldest
Christmas day here since 1989. At the time, we had snow on the ground
and lake effect flurries fell.

At the time, I was visting my sister north of Atlanta. A heavy snowfall
(4"?) fell Christmas Eve day there south of the city.

On Christmas Day, we had no heat from the furnace (but some from a
fireplace). It was 32 outside, along with flurries. My brother in law
told me it was the 1st time he could ever remember snow on Christmas
Day.

Here, no precip in the 7 day forecast but below freezing till perhaps
Sunday afternoon.

Merry Christmas everyone.
