Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from the wind tunnel of the mid Atlantic. The winds are rearranging the trees in my neighborhood and are destroying my Christmas lights. A new December wind gust record was set at 10:58 AM when the wind gusted out of the south at 72 mph breaking the record of 71 mph set on December 12, 2000. Everything that isn't nailed down at my homestead in the hills is blowing around. At 11 AM the wind is screaming at 56 mph sustained gusting to 70. I have to climb the roof in 70 mph wind and rain to try to save my 1,500 feet of Christmas lights. I think Scrooge was on to something about not liking Christmas. Ugh! Unitl later...................
