There are currently 2 Tornado Watches and 6 Tornado Warnings in effect for
the Deep South.

There are currently 4 Tornadic Vortex Signatures and more than 100
Mesocyclones detected by Radar in the Southeast.

This follows on the heels of severe weather in the Mississippi Valley
yesterday, where 29 tornadoes were reported.

NEWS REPORT:
SARDIS, Arkansas (AP) -- Driving rain and high wind caused heavy damage and
injured at least 10 people Monday as storms moved through Arkansas,
knocking out power to thousands of customers, authorities said. Near the
town of Sardis, Fire Chief Rick Morris said about 45 structures were
damaged or destroyed. Several tornados were reported."
