Hello to all from Okinawa, Japan. I've posted an avi file of
the latest 12-hour loop of typhoon Tokage, as it approaches
our island paradise. Thanks to the Japanese and their
expertise in building, this typhoon will affect us like the
last 8 that have hit the island this season- a day off from
work, a few broken trees, buckets of rain, and a 2-day
clean-up after returning to work (this is a worse- case
scenario). We all feel deeply sorry for the Floridians that
have endured back- to-back storms...Okinawa has been the
common target for most of the strong storms this season.
