> The next best thing to being there is seeing the tornado and storm action and
understanding what is actually going on. Reliving that action through the
eyes of a stormchaser that does a good job in directing the video/DVD makes it
not only enjoyable, enhances the footage and allows to see the marvels of
nature closeup. Your DVD is top notch. I though I might include some extra
input.
(1) The video footage is well done and shows some dramatic structures. Nice
menu of the chapters which can be accessed individually instead of going
through the whole video (- this is a nicer advantage of having DVD- but you will
want to see the whole DVD when you do whole or by chapter!).
(2) The DVD menu starts off well. nice start of several video sequences to
start off the video/dvd
(3) Nice titling to begin the chapters / the beginning of each video sequence
and good use of some fade in and out sequences.
(4) Great sound
(5) Great closeups and background scenery as well showing the structures with
the foreground (nice colors etc).
(6) Good sound and music included at spots
(7) Nicely down slide video shows of great footage shows the great structure
in the storms
(8) Dvd allows for nice increasing, slowing down and pausing crisp imaging
especially 5/24
(9) May 16 Holt Co. Nebraska tornadoes:- hail sequences nice added touch
(10) 5/24 tornado on ground in background nice. Great closeups of funnel -
great to use DVD stop action and slow, fast.
(11) 5/28 nice inflow huge mothership -nice pictures slide video show.
(12) 6/10 good in fast motion
(13) 6/11white tornado nice =- nice needle funnel - speeding up footage is
dramatic- great closeups
(14) 6/13 great tornado and structure and slide video sequence
(15) 7/8 nice slide video show
(16) nice with the funnel coming done
I highly recommend this DVD not only for the well done footage, the use of
DVD footage and chapters. Great job Mike.
I have my 7 eclipse expeditons now done on DVD (1972-2001) and will now start
on my 2001-2004 Storm Satori DVD.
