I was getting frustrated finding wind gusts from the hurricane as it made
landfall near Port Charlotte, FL. There were no NWS, AWS (WeatherBug) or
Weather Underground (amateur) stations near landfall. Now that it has come
up the bay close to Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, some good gusts and
impressive pressure readings are coming in (mph & "Hg):
