I just teceived this report from Steve Blumel, located in Ft. Meyers:
Winds Gusting 75-85 mph; tides rapidly RISING; POWER FAILING; NE edge
EYE now landfalling on Upper Sanibal Is; G here should reach 100-115
mph within next hour; power FAILING ALL ACROSS SW FL; tornadoes now
touching down same;have had 1" rain here since 0240 EDT this AM.
