The heavy rainfall event for west central Florida has ended now. Here in SW Plant City east of Tampa my three day rainfall total is 6.54", five day total is 7.47". Looking ahead one week "some" of the models are forecasting a second round of heavy rainfall for central Florida due to an another anomalous July 500 mb longwave trough and moisture from T.D. #1.
Just to my SW in central Hillsborough County the Brandon/Valrico area 8-10" of rainfall has fallen, same with the Tarpon Springs/Clearwater area of northern Pinellas County. I've including a link on my server to the five day NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin NEXRAD radar total image at

My month rainfall total is now 7.47". The July normal is 8.20", so there is now a pretty good chance that the rainfall total for the month can reach normal or above. During the first 15 days of July rainfall totaled only 0.48", VERY DRY. The summer rainy season has been feast or famine this year on the Florida peninsula. We have seen extended periods of excessive rainfall interspersed by extended periods of drought.
