Here in the SE section of Oconee County, located in NW South
Carolina, I just recorded 2.01" of rain in less than an hour. At one
point, my rain rate was 4.02"/hr. During that time, I picked up .55"
of rain in about 15 minutes. This brings my June rainfall total to
2.79", which is greater than the monthly totals for March, April, and
May. Hopefully, this will not be the end to the rain.
