"A powerful storm blows into Utah, tossing semi trucks off the road and
stranding their drivers. The wind created mayhem on a stretch of
interstate, and is causing serious problems throughout the state. Sam
Penrod is live along I-80 between Tooele and Wendover to show us what's
happening there.

Since late morning, the wind has been strong out here, in some places up to
70 miles per hour-which has made driving very risky, especially for high
profile vehicles such as semi trucks. The most serious trouble was just
outside of Wendover on I-80. About eleven oclock this morning, the winds
caused four semi trucks to blow over. Three of the trucks were blown over,
just outside of town. All of the drivers were able to walk away without
serious injury."
