A large, wet Pacific storm system brought much-needed precipitation to Colorado over the past 36 hours. Approximately 6" of new snow fell at my home station in Elizabeth (30 miles SE of Denver). The liquid equivalent was 0.63. Anywhere from 2 to 8 inches were reported in the Denver area, with much more on the Palmer Divide near Monument and Colorado Springs. You can view the precipitation totals by visiting http://www.cocorahs.org, which is a network of volunteer precipitation observers in Colorado. Just click on "Maps" to see the totals from the recent storm.
I have also launched a page about tornadoes on my personal site at http://www.weatherbuff.com. Please check it out and feel free to offer any suggestions for content.
