As you all probably know by now, several tornadoes touched down
yesterday in Illinois and Indiana. I was in Indianapolis for part of
the afternoon only expecting thunderstorms with an isolated hail or
wind event. As I headed North out of Indy around 5:30, I began to
hear the Severe Thunderstorm warnings to the west of Indy. I then
heard of a Tornado warning for a cell entering Boone county. I headed
North and intercepted the wall cloud with funnel between Lebanon and
Sheridan in Boone counties. I followed this storm up to Tipton
Indiana when darkness finally set in. This cell caused heavy damage
in Jamestown in SW Boone county and had other touchdowns along its
path. A second cell followed a parallel path but to the north and
caused heavy damage in northern Kokomo in Howard county. For
