Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from the wind tunnel of the mid Atlantic.
Where has spring gone? At first it was entirely too cold now summer heat has
kicked in. The min temperature for my homestead in the hills on Monday was 66
degrees. It is a record high min for the date and it is also a record high min
for the month of April surpassing 63 degrees set on several occasions and last
set on April 20, 2002. The max on Monday of 88 degrees ties the record high
max for the date set in 1995. To add insult to injury, at 3:16 PM the wind
gusted out of the west at 50 mph. It is the fourth day this month where the wind
gusted 50+ mph. That is one short of an all time record for any month. There is
no better feeling than to feel a near 90 degree wind blowing in your face at
50 mph. Ugh! Until later...............
