I got up more than an hour early to make the trip from West
Columbia SC to Newberry SC as I sign on WKDK 1240 on Sunday AM
at 6. I woke up at 3 and got dressed and arrive here at 4:45 AM.
At that time it was 42. At 6 it was 40 and now the temperature
is 31.6 and ice is hanging on the antennas on the truck and the
parts where water hangs on the tower has frozen. At 11:40 AM,
the precip is VERY light. I have yet to see sleet.
