This cam shot from Maine:

where this morning it is in the lower 20's with snow and freezing rain, may
come as a surprise to some of us in the Middle-Atlantic where we are in the
60's and 70's with scattered sunshine.

In eastern Quebec this morning, wind chills were in the single digits.

The cause: A big storm with long pinwheel fronts over New England.
