A major lightning strike in the city of Pekin caused
damage to the entire 800 radio system, The Tazewell
ESDA people where able to respond within 20 minutes
with the Com. Van. and set up, providing a manual 800
com. system to keep the system on line and provide a
line of communications with the 911 system.
