I agree though I don't know that it was started by a storm chaser, somebody
probably just picked it up off the Net and sent it around... and it
eventually made it to us. The media and public are not very well trained
in meteorology or science at all for that matter (consider the blackout
which was initially blamed on lightning even though there were no storms in
the area at the time). Hopefully education is something that WeatherMatrix
can help foster.
