Hidi-ho good neighbors. Greetings from my now abandoned homestead in the
hills. My home was damaged by good ole Isabel. Roof and water damage and a power
outage this is supposed to last for days will keep my family out of our home
until Wednesday. Wide spread tree damage along with the unlucky few whose homes
were also damaged. For my station on Thursday, average wind 34.8 mph with a
peak gust of 63 and Friday, average wind of 43.4 mph with a peak gust of 68. My
station had 3.60 inches of rain. My station runs on solar power with battery
back up so the station will continue to operate even though I cannot live in
the home right now. Ugh! Until later.
