0850 AM NEW LEBANON PA WIND DAMAGE
08/26/03 MERCER LARGE TREES DOWN AND POWER
                                           OUTAGES. HOUSE ON FIRE DUE
                                           TO LIGHTNING STRIKE.

PEMA:

The following reports were received today from the Pennsylvania Emergency
Management Agency.

I. Severe Thunderstorms

(National Weather Service, 2:52 a.m., 8/26/03) A severe thunderstorm
warning was issued for Franklin County. Severe thunderstorm watches were
issued for Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry and York counties. Minor
damages were reported throughout those areas. Bedford County reported one
individual was struck by lightning and minor property damages were
reported. Local schools held students in the buildings until the storms
subsided.

The incident was terminated at 4:00 p.m.
