Re: [STORMREPORTS] Lightning News

In addition to this, my supervisor at work related a story concerning lightning at his house in Columbia County, PA on Friday. We had some scattered storms in the area on Friday. He and his associates were standing around discussing taking his kids to football practice, with his dog by his side. In an instant, he said the dog's eye's exploded from his head and a split second later lightning hit his barn where a truck was stored. Naturally, the dog was dead, but when he went to start the truck, it was dead. He took the battery to the local parts store where the total output was ~ 3VDC, (normally about 13.5 VDC).
You have to respect the power of lightning.
