Severe storms on the Indiana / Kentucky border this afternoon were very
strong before moving south. The Louisville KY NEXRAD reported:

Echo Tops over 60,000 feet
Vertically Integrated Liquid values at 80
A large area of over 50dbz rain
Rain rates of up to 4" per hour

UPDATE: The WeatherMatrix StormMatrix has just reported a V.I.L. of 84 from
the Nashville radar (which is of course shooting up higher into the storm
because the storm is near the edge of the radar)
