Charlotte,NC...sets a temperature record.The lattest date for the official
high temp to reach 90 degrees.The old record was June 26th.Charlotte airport
has registered 89 degrees an 3 occasions so far in '03.The last 3 months
have avg temps running -2.6,-2.3 and -3.2 degrees respectively.That follows
5 years of above average temps and a precip deficit of nearly 6 feet over
that same 5 year period.
