At 727 pm a severe thunderstorm 4 mi sw of new glasgow or over amherst moving
east at 35 mph.
The severe thunderstorm is capable of producing hail up to the size of
nickels. Winds up to 60 mph. Very frequent and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. The storm has a history of producing damaging winds and large hail.
