The snow has just begun in Leeds, Maine. It's very fine right now but
poor visibility.

We are expecting 4 inches from the original outlook of 8 inches. A
strong possibility of a change over to a mixture of sleet and snow
creating a nice sheet of ice to top it off is anticipated.

There is a base of 16 inches already.
Most people here are preparing for power outages from ice accumulation.

The present conditions:
Light snow
Temperature36 °F
Wind NNE at 7 mph
Barometric Pressure is 29.88 in and falling.

Leeds is about a half hour from Lewiston, Maine. We are situated on
the south shore of Androscoggin Lake.Leeds is in Androscoggin County,
Maine.

I haven't seen this much snow up here since 1999 in Ellsworth, Maine
when I beat the storm flying up from Texas, just under the gun!
