The wind howled and lightning was practically continuous as a strong line of thunderstorms ripped through East Tennessee overnight. This station, located just north of Knoxville, reported .94 inches of rain and winds to 25 mph while KMOR doppler showed intense storms in the area. Most counties were under tornado warning.
At least 3 people are feared dead, many missing in a rural part of Morgan County, the result of a confirmed tornado there.
