G. Storm Damage
 
(Crawford County, 9:58 p.m., 11/10/02) Several homes sustained roof
damage, several roads were closed with debris on the highway and
sporadic power and phone outages were reported in Fairfield Township due
to strong winds and heavy rain over a short period of time. SEOC will
follow-up.

H. Adverse Weather - Tornado
 
(National Weather Service, 6:51 p.m., 11/10/02) Severe thunderstorm
warnings and tornado watches were issued for counties in western
Pennsylvania. The watches were upgraded to warnings for Mercer and
Crawford Counties. At 8:39 p.m. Mercer County reported that it had
sustained damage from a tornado that touched down in Clark Borough. It
was reported that 4 to 6 homes were destroyed, 6 to 8 homes sustained
major damage and 6 homes suffered minor damage. One fatality and
numerous minor injuries were reported. Approximately 4,400 West Penn
Power customers were without power that will not be restored until
Monday morning. The American Red Cross was activated and opened a
shelter at the Reynolds High School. PEMA Western Regional staff and
the PEMA uplink truck have been dispatched to the scene. SEOC will
follow-up.
 
At 12:07 a.m., 11/11/02 the National Weather Service reported that all
watches and warnings have expired as the storm front weakened.

and Military and Veterans Affairs, FEMA Region III, American Red Cross,
Public Utility Commission, Mercer County and PEMA Western Regional
