Here in Northwest South Carolina, this station recorded 3.22" of rain
Tuesday. This was very welcomed to this drought stricken part of the
country. Now, all we need is some cold weather, and a snowy winter!
Snowy weather in South Carolina? You better believe it! Example:
17 inches of snow in one day in January 1988. We usually get a few
snow events in this part of the state each winter, along with several
ice storms. I have no idea why I got off on those subjects, but,
there you have it, and it didn't cost any extra.
