Widespread thunderstorms with some severe exploded across the central
peninsula Sunday afternoon in
association with and eastward moving vorticity maximum. Unusually high
temperatures in the low 90's plus east
and west coast seabreeze collisions aided in the storm development and heavy
rainfall totals of 2-6". The
next several days promise to be very wet and stormy as we get squeezed by
the approaching 500 mb longwave
trough/cold front and a future probable but hopefully near miss category 1-2
Hurricane Marco.

Our first cold front of the season will drop temperatures to 10-20 deg.
below normal by weeks end!!!

Seems that there is little attention being paid to this system by most
Meteorologists and the media.
The future probable category 1-2 Hurricane Marco is looking better organized
this evening and is a big
threat for Florida, especially southern areas.
