[STORMREPORTS] Lili Recon Update

From: W. Sanford Smith III (freetexas{at}sbcglobal.net)
Date: Wed Oct 02 2002 - 13:19:25 EDT

Latest pass through the eye indicates continued intensification. Pressure
is down to 941MB and the plane recorded 131KT coming out the NE side. Good
news for us is that Lili may be beginning a turn. We'll have to observe for
a bit to see if it's a trend or a wobble. Bad news, of course, if you're
anywhere near the Sabine River and the coast.

Noted that the NW portion of the cloud shield over eastern Texas/southwest
Louisiana is blown north by the outflow now instead of northwest.
