http://www.wral.com/news/1690093/detail.html

"Gusty winds reported at up to 45 miles per hours have toppled trees, which
in turn have snapped power lines and caused outages in Jackson County.
Transportation officials with the Jackson County School System say N.C.
Highway 107 is closed at
Tuckaseegee because of downed lines and trees.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge School in Glenville is closed becuase of the weather."
