[ED. NOTE: Actually if you look at the Surface Map (http://www.weather.com/maps/news/forecastsummary/index_large.html) the surface low, former Hannah, is only in Western North Carolina. HOWEVER, some of the tropical air associated with it was pulled north over the weekend. There were a lot of reports of heavy "tropical" downpours (that you folks are used to on the Gulf Coast!) in the Northeast Sunday. --JF, Moderator]

That storm was part of an area of showers/thunderstorms that is part of the
remnants of T.D. "Hannah".
